Revolutionary Skin Tightening Treatments

Plasma Skin Tightening

Plasma Skin Tightening is the only cosmetic treatment to use plasma to eliminate excess skin—low risk, minimal downtime, and more affordable than surgery. Plasma Skin Tightening is known for its success with Non-Surgical Eyelift, Skin Tag Removal, Tummy Tightening, Stretch Marks, and so much more.

The term “Soft Surgery” is used to describe the treatment because it delivers results similar to surgery, with no scalpel, stitches, or bandages, and minimal downtime—a minimally invasive procedure with much lower risk and at a more affordable price than the actual surgery.

Consultation is required to ensure the correct treatment plan for optimal results.

HOW DOES PLASMA SKIN TIGHTENING WORK?

Plasma Pen (PPT) is our newest machine that harnesses the power of plasma, a fourth state matter (Solid, Liquid, Gas, Plasma), to help reduce or eliminate certain skin conditions and concerns, such as wrinkles, fine lines, moles, skin tags, etc.

Through the process of ionization, our PPT unit creates an electric charge or ARC.  This arc is focused on a target on the skin's surface, which causes a controlled burn, which dissipates heat throughout the area being targeted.   This technique causes the elimination of moles, skin tags and pigmentation, etc.  Moreover, the dissipation of heat throughout the skin being targeted causes your body to send fibroblasts to the area and lay down collagen and elastin fibers, promoting the plumping and tightening of the skin.

Plasma Skin Tightening is a relative innovation in the beauty industry in North America but has been used for many years in Europe. The extremely accurate device utilizes the voltage in the air between its tip and the skin to form a plasma charge. An electrical arc is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin.  The tissue retraction and tightening give results that are comparable to invasive surgery.

The Plasma Skin Tightening method has many advantages over cosmetic surgery, making it an increasingly popular treatment.  There is no cutting of the skin, which means no stitches are required, and clients can return to work much sooner.

WHAT IS IT USED TO TREAT?
Plasma Skin Tightening can treat several imperfections without any actual cutting of the skin. you can use for it:

  • Eyelid Tightening, including lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin.

  • Skin imperfections, including skin tags and sunspots.

  • Improvement in the appearance of acne scars

  • Diminishing Stretch marks.

  • Tightening loose stomach skin after pregnancy.

  • Lines and wrinkles around the mouth.

  • Plasma Facelift and  Plasma Neck lift.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
As Plasma Skin Tightening is more than a simple tightening treatment, the skin is removed, so the effects should last as long as they would with invasive surgery.  Like all surgical and cosmetic procedures, the effects of plasma treatment are not entirely permanent as it does not stop any further aging. But, the positive results should last you years depending on the area treated.  The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first treatment, but the best results will be seen after 4 weeks. For some, additional treatment may be required after 6 weeks for maximum results.  Additionally, there are lifestyle factors that can prevent the result from lasting as long as they can, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and prolonged sun exposure. Those planning treatment should also be aware that their race and genetics can also affect the length of beneficial effects.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
The number of treatments required will vary according to the condition being treated, skin's laxity, the desired degree of correction, and the individual’s response to the treatment. Most clients see results instantly, and this continues to improve over the following 8  weeks. Further treatments can be carried out to get better results, although it is uncommon to require more than two treatments. Appointments must be spaced out by 8 weeks.

WHAT TO EXPECT-SIDE EFFECTS AND RISKS
Plasma  Skin Tightening is a safe treatment due to its non-invasive nature. Still, most clients are likely to experience some minor side effects in the 7-10 days following treatment.

There will be some tiny brown marks that have the appearance of minor scabbing, which are carbon crusts, but in 7-10 days, these will flake away, revealing new pink skin beneath. Some swelling will be seen (especially in cases of eyelid treatment), but it is likely to only last 3-5 days at most.  Swelling in the eye area is to be expected for a few days following an upper eyelid treatment. To avoid any more serious side effects such as hyperpigmentation, follow the aftercare recommendations given to you by your technician.

 NOT TO BE USED IN
As with the majority of cosmetic procedures, Plasma Skin Tightening should not be used on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Although some darker skin types are suitable for the soft surgery procedure, it is not advised for those with very dark skin. There is a higher risk of hyperpigmentation (dark spots) or hypopigmentation (light spots) following treatment.

Day of Treatment

On the treatment day, it is recommended that no make-up is worn on the treatment area. In addition, we suggest taking an anti-histamine 60 minutes before your appointment to help with swelling and continue to take anti-histamines for 2-3 days following your appointment.

A numbing agent is applied  45 minutes before the scheduled time. When the treatment area is sufficiently numb, the session begins with multiple connections of the plasma tip, spaced closely together. As a result, you may feel some heat in the treatment area, which may be uncomfortable and slightly irritating. Treatment time is usually between 30-90 minutes, depending on the size of the area.

Immediately after treatment, the area will be red and mildly swollen with small encrustations and discoloration.  You may experience a sensation similar to a sunburn which will likely last a few hours.  Swelling may intensify over the following few hours when eyes are treated and may last 2-3 days. Depending on the individual and area treated, the encrustations/discoloration should resolve within 5 -12 days. Results are seen instantly after the treatment, although this gradually improves over the following eight weeks.  Essentially there is downtime, but it is considerably less than with surgery.

Following treatment, you will be given thorough aftercare instructions to ensure that you see the best results. Use the provided Silver spray to cleanse while the dots are still present. You should not use an exfoliating wash or cleanser in the week following treatment (or until the treatment area has fully healed). Instead, opt for a pH-balanced soap (dove), and avoid rubbing the area. The skin will feel sensitive for several weeks.

Most people are safe to drive following their Plasma Skin Tightening procedure as swelling does not set in until later that day and three days that follow. But it is a personal preference.

After all the dots have fallen off, we recommend using hyaluronic acid on a damp face daily after cleansing, followed by a moisturizer. In the PM, use Vitamin E after cleansing.
